Scent-Sational Brightening DIY Oil Mix: A Recipe for Radiant Skin

Get ready to pamper your skin with a luxurious, homemade brightening oil mix that not only smells divine but also works wonders to boost your complexion. This DIY recipe is packed with natural ingredients that gently target hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and dryness, leaving you with a radiant, healthy glow.

Ingredients and their Benefits:

  • Fair & White Brightening Oil (Almond Oil): This oil provides a lightweight, easily absorbed base infused with the nourishing properties of almond oil. It helps soften and smooth the skin while leaving a beautiful, subtle scent.
  • Fair & White Brightening Oil (Carrot Oil): This oil adds another layer of nourishment with sweet almond oil and carrot oil. Carrot oil is known for its brightening properties, helping to reduce hyperpigmentation and promote an even skin tone.
  • Bearberry Extract in Glycerin: This extract is a natural source of arbutin, a potent skin-lightening agent that helps fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
  • Mulberry Extract in Glycerin: This extract contains deoxynojirimycin, another natural skin brightener that works by inhibiting melanin production.
  • Fair & White Brightening Serum: This serum enhances the brightening effects with its concentrated formula, targeting uneven skin tone and promoting a radiant complexion.
  • Rescue Oil: This oil is a multi-purpose wonder, known for its ability to improve the appearance of stretch marks and dry skin. It adds a touch of luxury and nourishment to the mix.
  • Vitamin E: This antioxidant powerhouse helps protect the skin from free radical damage, promoting a youthful and healthy appearance.

Tentative measurements for 100ml

  • 30 ml Fair & White Brightening Oil (Almond Oil)
  • 20 ml Fair & White Brightening Oil (Carrot Oil)
  • 5 ml Bearberry Extract in Glycerin
  • 5 ml Mulberry Extract in Glycerin
  • 5 ml Fair & White Brightening Serum
  • 5 ml Rescue Oil
  • 5 drops Vitamin E

Making your Scent-Sational Brightening Oil Mix:

  1. Disinfect: Ensure all surfaces and utensils (measuring cups, spoons, funnel) are thoroughly disinfected with alcohol.
  2. Measure and Combine: Using the measuring cups and spoons, carefully measure each ingredient into the empty 100 ml cosmetics bottle.
  3. Mix and Funnel: Once all ingredients are added, gently swirl the bottle to combine them thoroughly. Use the funnel to ensure a smooth pour without any spills.
  4. Store and Enjoy: Tightly seal the bottle and store it in a cool, dark place. Apply a few drops of the oil to your face and neck every night after cleansing, massaging it gently into your skin.

Additional Tips:

  • You can adjust the measurements slightly based on your skin type and preference. For oily skin, use less oil overall.
  • Perform a patch test on your inner arm before applying the oil to your face to check for any sensitivities.
  • Be consistent with application for optimal results.

This DIY brightening oil mix is a delightful way to pamper your skin and achieve a radiant, even complexion. Enjoy the luxurious scent and the natural benefits of each ingredient as you embark on your journey to a brighter, more beautiful you!

I personally love using this oil mix after a brightening scrub for an extra boost of radiance. I typically apply it in the evenings, roughly 2 times a week, but also whenever my skin feels like it needs some extra TLC.
